Happy New Year!


Dear HowSheLeads Community,

As we approach the end of another transformative year, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey we’ve shared. From the powerful stories captured in our podcast episodes to the vibrant connections sparked within our community, HowSheLeads continues to thrive because of you. Together, we are dismantling the "single story" of leadership and showing women and girls worldwide that they can lead with confidence, authenticity, and purpose.

As we look toward a bold new year, I am writing to express my deepest gratitude and to ask for your continued partnership in four specific ways to support our 2026 vision:

1. A Request for Our Past Podcast Guests: To the incredible women who shared their journeys on our podcast this year: your stories are the heartbeat of our mission. To better showcase your leadership on our website, we invite you to send a high-resolution profile picture along with your formal permission for us to feature it. Your face is a beacon for the next generation of girls looking for role models who look like them.

2. Support HowSheLeads Scholarship: In 2026, we have set a goal to launch an Annual HowSheLeads Scholarship to support the professional development of these dedicated individuals. This fund is designed to provide financial support for the professional and educational growth of rising leaders. While our dedicated volunteers serve out of a pure commitment to our mission — cultivating a true service mindset — they will represent a primary pool of candidates for this merit-based scholarship. 3. Expanding the Dialogue: The "Partners in Leadership" Series. We believe that no individual achieves greatness alone; true impact is built on the strength of our partnerships. In the new year, we are launching a "Partners in Leadership" Zoom series to bring together voices from all gender identities to discuss how we can better support one another. We are also evolving our podcast/YouTube format: all future interviewees (and past interviewees) are invited with an opportunity to bring a key partner or ally into their story to highlight the collaborative nature of success. We invite you to join these sessions as we explore how to build stronger, more inclusive ecosystems of support.

4. Refer a Leader: Our platform grows through your networks. If you know a visionary woman leader—whether she is a tech founder, a community organizer, or an industry trailblazer—please refer her to us for a future interview. Help us ensure that no story of leadership goes untold.
